Hello Dear Parents,
We're glad you're interested in cleaning up your little ones and want to know more about the kids herbals we trust and recommend.
We know that dealing with our children mental, emotional and physical health can be a touchy and sensitive subject. But, since they are all connected, specially the gut and brain, we need to address them together and not separately.
One literally feeds the other and sometimes there are “other things” inside feeding too creating an array of symptoms such as not allowing full absorption of food, abnormal cravings, stomach pains, headaches, irregular bowel movements, out of the normal mood swings, big big cries, tantrums and much more... Especially behaviors that will make you ask yourself where did my “child” go? He/she never acts like this...
As parents we understand and feel your frustration deeply. We have used many different types of protocols, herbs, etc and following are the ones we have found to work effectively, trust and recommend for families.
General Recommendations
Preferred dietary choices:
Keep it simple! Meaning simple dishes with not too many ingredients.Â
Fresh fruit, veggies and easy to digest foods. Nothing processed…
Emotional process and support:
This is a time for you to be extra caring and loving to your children knowing that they in fact maybe going through a tough time emotionally. Just as the body will be detoxing the emotions will too.
Holding space is key, they may share different emotions that have been stuck or they haven’t processed yet as a way of release.Â
Giving them the space to share suppressed feelings and listening in a supportive way and making them feel safe will be very beneficial for them. Also, it’s a great time to pay attention to their unspoken needs, which will give us hints on how to be better parents and help them in life.
They may also have meltdowns about certain cravings. Watch and observe from a neutral perspective, be patient, loving and peacefully unshakable as they pass.
It's not just about them:
Also remember that even though you’re observing your children, this is also a great time to reflect on yourself and your own body and emotional process. When was the last time you did a cleanse or an emotional detox? Our kids are often mirroring our own behaviors showing us what just might be inside of us.
List of herbs and supplements
Dr. Morse Herbals
We love Dr Robert Morse’s Parasite G, Parasite M, Kidney 1 and Liver glycerin tinctures. Glycerin based tinctures are milder than alcohol based ones and have a nice sweet taste.Â
Whilst taking an anti parasite formula we suggest to also take the kidney and liver tinctures to help its function and filter toxins.
Choose either Parasite G or M, together may be too strong. You may alternate and after doing a round of M you can do G.
Please follow directions according to the label and how much for child per weight.
Cedar Bears
Also a glycerin based tincture that tastes yummy. Their intestinal cleanse formula is a 14 day protocol that should be taken apart from Dr. Morse’s  parasite G or M, but can be taken with Kidney 1 and Liver.
Intestinal Cleanse
Decongests the GI track in a gentle way and improves digestion.
Zencleanz Enzymes
 Zencleanz has a fantastic line of products. They are plant based concoctions fermented for 3 years to create super enzymes. This enzymes are amazing scavengers that literally eat up obstructions.Â
Removing pathogens food and shelter by “eating up” undigested foods and stagnation in the gut prevents them from sticking around... Great as a maintenance as well!
